Niverville Recreation & Wellness has many adult programs for all interests. Adult programs vary from sports and fitness to arts and culture. These programs are available on a drop-in or program registration basis.

Arts & Culture
Adult Art Workshops: Express your artistic side and learn the fundamentals of mixed media art forms through professionally instructed art workshops!
Conversational Spanish Workshops: Learn the fundamentals of Spanish in our Level 1 and Level 2 Conversational Spanish courses.
Writing Workshops: Develop your personal and fictional writing skills in this professionally instructed workshop series.
Fitness
Adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu: This course is geared towards those who are just starting out on their Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) journey or those more experienced individuals looking to refocus on the basics.
Adult Muay Thai & Kickboxing: Whether you want to get into physical shape, learn self-defence, cross-train, or become an athlete, Muay Thai and kickboxing can benefit you!
Adult Wrestling: Come try the world’s oldest sport! Wrestling is back in Niverville.
Zumba: Let the rhythms of the Latin world take over and get your heart pumping in this high energy cardio fitness class!
Sports
Adult Basketball: Drop-in and shoot some hoops! This program is open to all skill levels and scrimmage style play.
Adult Golf: Seasonal play in our Golf Simulator lounge. Play top-courses from around the world each week.
Adult Pickleball: We offer daytime and evening options, as well as seasonal tournaments and skill development clinics.
Adult Rec Hockey: This weekly program is open to all skill levels and intended to be a fun, recreational play environment.
Adult Volleyball: Come out and play volleyball! Get out, get active and have fun!
Indoor Soccer: Keep playing all year long with our Indoor Soccer program!

Adult Drop-Ins
Are you looking to get active or want to try a program? We have Drop-in options for you! Pop into the front desk at the CRRC prior to the program start time to pay. Drop-in programs include: Volleyball, Basketball, Pickleball, Indoor Soccer, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kickboxing and wrestling.

Join us this Thursday from 11AM-3PM at the Niverville Take-One Leave-One Library for some fun building with Lego!

Come enjoy a Touch-a-Truck event hosted by the Town of Niverville!The Town of Niverville is putting on a Touch-a-Truck event for the whole family!
Come on down to the Centennial Arena overflow parking lot on Friday, July 17th, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM to see and touch a whole host of different working vehicles!
Currently, Niverville Fire & Emergency Services, Niverville Operations, the Niverville RCMP Detachment, Artel Farms, and Bristal Hauling will all be bringing equipment for this fun event.
Admission is free, and there is no age limit to who can attend.

Join Knowledge Keeper Carl Maytwayashing in this two hour learning hosted in the South End Library. Together we will learn about the 4 traditional medicines and 7 sacred animals and their significance in Indigenous traditions.

We’ve extended our weekend hours so you can visit the Niverville CRRC- located at 501 Centre Street to enjoy Free Wifi and a selection of books from our Take-One Leave-One Library or purchase a daypass or membership and access our indoor track, playground and scheduled open gym sports!

Summer Youth Grappling Starts Tonight!
Whether you want to learn a new skill, improve your fitness and confidence or become a serious competitor this is the place to be!
Classes will feature a combination of Olympic style wrestling and Brazilian jiu jitsu for youth ages 5 and up, adults included, with no experience necessary. A typical class will include a high energy warm-up, learning and practicing new wrestling and jiu-jitsu techniques, fun skill building games and the chance to use your skills in “live” drills and practice matches.
Minimal equipment is required- come in shorts and a t-shirt without straps, clips, or zippers. Wrestling shoes are optional.
