Community Resource & Recreation Centre is a Hub for All!
All communities need a hub where they can go to access programs, activities, and learning opportunities. Thankfully, Niverville Recreation & Wellness has just the space for all of this at the Community Resource & Recreation Centre. The CRRC has many collaborative, multi-use spaces and is a place where everyone in the community can find a program they enjoy.
The CRRC is a place for more than just sports, it’s first and foremost a hub where the community can gather. There are more than eleven Arts & Culture other creative programs being offered on a weekly basis. We also can’t forget the one-time program offerings such as a valentine’s couple cooking class, an Intro to Investment workshop, or the always exciting Canadian Red Cross Babysitting Course.
Because the CRRC is designed as a community hub, being a welcoming public space for all is a priority. This is the reason for the CRRC having amenities such as comfortable seating, free public Wi-Fi, convenient device charging stations, and accessible public washrooms, to name a few.
There are also opportunities to learn about the history of the Town of Niverville through the Niverville Cultural Space. Located on the second floor of the CRRC, you can take a step back in time here to learn about Niverville, from the Indigenous First Peoples who lived here to the present. Did you know that Niverville was home to Manitoba’s first grain elevator?
Finally, there is the community kitchen, where many community cooking and baking classes are held. For example, there will be a Christmas Cookie Decorating Class on December 16th, which is open to everyone ages 10 and up, accompanied by an adult. If you want to see what other programs are happening at the CRRC this winter, check out the Winter Leisure Guide here: https://simplebooklet.com/winterleisureguide#page=1
Niverville Recreation & Wellness is always working hard to maximize the investments that the community has provided into functional, multi-use spaces that will fulfill the needs of all patrons. Have an activity you want to host, a class you want to teach, or a certain type of programming you’re looking for? Reach out to Niverville Recreation & Wellness at [email protected] or call 204-388-4600 Ext. 3. We are always looking to highlight the local knowledge and talents of our residents through community programs!

We heard your calls for Zumba- and we're happy to tell you IT'S BACK!!
We take the "work" out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you'll see why Zumba® Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. Super effective? Check. Super fun? Check and check.
A total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class.
