Niverville Quickly Becoming Hub for National Championships
Niverville, MB – The Town of Niverville is excited for the quickly approaching Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Men’s Volleyball Nationals, taking place from March 5th to 8th, 2025, at the Niverville Community Resource & Recreation Centre. This event is co-hosted between the Town and Providence University College. On top of this, the Town is excited to announce that it has also been selected as the host facility for the 2026 CCAA Women’s Volleyball Nationals on March 11th to 14th, 2026, at the Niverville Community Resource & Recreation Centre (CRRC), again alongside Providence University College.
“Last year, we said that our cutting-edge recreation facilities would put Niverville on the map as a go-to place for national championships and other large-scale events,” said Mayor of Niverville Myron Dyck. “That is showing itself to be true with the Niverville CRRC having been selected back-to-back as the host facility for national championships. I am excited to see how the CRRC and other investments made into our community will continue to benefit us in the future.”
Warren Britton, Director of Recreation & Wellness for the Town, agrees. “Interest in the Niverville CRRC as a facility to host championships has steadily grown since our opening in 2021. This year alone, we have held or are planning to hold five provincial championship events in our facilities, not including the CCAA Men’s Volleyball Nationals. I fully expect that number to continue to rise as more organizations hear about our fantastic facilities here.”
The Town of Niverville is in a prime location to host national championships and other large-scale events, being located 20 minutes from multiple urban centers and home to a vibrant and involved community. As the fastest-growing municipality in the province of Manitoba and the fifth-fastest-growing in Canada, Niverville is quickly on its way to becoming the go-to spot for national events.
Please be aware the the walking track in the CRRC will be closed for the duration of this event.
