Niverville Recreation & Wellness offers a broad range of accessible recreational opportunities with the aim to create connections and cultivate belonging while meeting the physical, social, and psychological needs of the community. Recreation Desk Supervisor
The Recreation Desk Supervisor will be the first point of contact for Campus Staff working in the Recreation Department. They will attend to visitors, deal with inquiries through phone and email and provide information regarding programming and facilities. They will be responsible for processing payment transactions, preparing daily deposit reports, providing supervision, guidance and training to staff and feedback to the management team.
Recreation Campus Staff
The Recreation Campus Staff is the first point of contact for visitors to the Community Resource & Recreation Centre. The Recreation Campus Staff attends to visitors, deals with inquiries on the phone, email and in person, and provides information regarding the building to the public, also responsible for taking payments.
Canteen Attendant
The Canteen Attendant will be responsible for the daily duties of the canteen in the South End Golf Simulator Lounge including, but not limited to, serving beverages, food preparation, customer service, cash handling, inventory control, merchandise, and supply restocking. Must be 18+ years of age.

Summer Camp Counsellor

The Town of Niverville is now accepting applications for Summer Camp Counsellors to work during the months of July and August. These positions require split shift flexibility; hours will be Monday to Friday with varied shifts for an estimated 20-40 hours per week. Reporting to the Supervisor of Recreation Camps & Programming, the successful applicants will be required to:
- Provide a fun, positive, and safe environment for all children;
- Be responsible for the safety and well-being of each child;
- Guide daily activities with children in the Summer Day Camp Program;
- Supervise and provide leadership for children participating in the program;
- Work cooperatively with other staff;
- Be prepared to work outside or inside;
- Communicate with parents and/or guardians where appropriate/as required; and
- Administrative and other duties as assigned.
Conditions of employment include the following:
– Satisfactory Criminal Record and Child Abuse Registry checks;
– CPR/First Aid Certification;
– Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence;
– Access to a vehicle;
– At least 16 years of age; and
– Valid social insurance number.
Ideal candidates will have experience working with ages 3-13 within a recreational or sport setting. This position requires the individual to have confidence, patience, strong communication, and organizational skills. Preference will be given to Niverville Residents.

Recreation Maintenance Positions
Recreation Maintenance Staff
The Recreation Facilities staff will be responsible for maintaining the Recreation Facilities and Parks in the Town of Niverville. Areas include the CRRC, Centennial Arena, Hespeler Park, Curling Rink, Outdoor Rink and various other parks and greenspaces around Niverville as directed by the Manager of Recreation Maintenance.
