Our mission is to be the community connection for sports, recreation, health and wellness, arts, programs, and entertainment.

Our team is made up of a diverse group of individuals who collectively work to ensure our mission statement is achieved through the Niverville Recreation & Wellness programs and facilities we operate.

Curling Rink Ice Maintainer

The Town of Niverville is seeking contract proposals for an Ice maintainer for the Niverville Curling Rink for the 2025 season. The Niverville Curling Rink is a three-sheet facility with natural ice, operating 3 evenings per week (Tuesday – Thursday) from January 2rd through March 6th. Additional curling events may include the following: one Friday night curling activity, one weekend bonspiel, one weekend playoffs, and high school daytime curling slots. Depending on weather conditions, the service contract may be either reduced or extended to meet recreational service expectations.

Recreation Campus Staff Supervisor

The Recreation Campus Staff Supervisor will be the first point of contact for staff in the Recreation Department during the scheduled working hours. The Recreation Campus Staff Supervisor will attend to visitors, deal with inquiries on the phone, email, and face-to-face, supply information regarding the facility, and take payments for rentals, memberships, and programs. The Recreation Campus Staff Supervisor will create Campus Staff schedules, orientate & train new staff, complete the daily deposits, provide guidance and feedback, resolve conflicts, and provide input on programs/develop programs. Thispart-time  position is primarily evening and weekend shifts.

Recreation Campus Staff

The Recreation Campus Staff is the first point of contact for visitors to the Community Resource & Recreation Centre. The Recreation Campus Staff attends to visitors, deals with inquiries on the phone, email and in person, and provides information regarding the building to the public, also responsible for taking payments.

Canteen Attendant

The Canteen Attendant is responsible for the daily duties of the canteen including, but not limited to, food preparation, customer service, cash handling, inventory control, merchandise and supply restocking.

Maintenance Staff

The Recreation Facilities/Park Maintenance Staff will be responsible for maintaining the Recreation Facilities and Parks in the Town of Niverville. Areas include the CRRC, Centennial Arena, Hespeler Park, Curling Rink, Outdoor Rink and various other parks and greenspaces around Niverville.

Facilitators / Instructors

Niverville Recreation runs a large variety of programs throughout the year in the CRRC and other facilities. Ranging from Preschool programs, such as Storytime and Sports Club to Youth Drop-in Volleyball or Basketball, to Adult Bootcamps and Yoga’s’. If you are interested in facilitating a program, please reach out to us! Summer Camp Leader

The Summer Camp Leader will facilitate the delivery of summer camp programming and assist if required in the little league soccer for the Town of Niverville. In collaboration with the Recreation Programmer, the Camp Leader will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing all summer camp programs.
