Maybe the idea has been sitting with you for months—or years. This four-week, in-person Writing Workshop is designed for adults who feel the pull to write and are ready to finally give it space.
These are small, focused sessions built to help you write with clarity, confidence, and momentum.
Each week includes:
• A short, practical craft lesson you can immediately apply
• Guided writing time to help you move from thinking to doing
• A clear assignment designed to generate new work between sessions
• Dedicated time to share your writing and receive thoughtful, strengths-based feedback
The heart of this workshop is the response process.
Writers receive specific feedback on where their stories draw readers in—where the writing feels vivid, surprising, engaging, or emotionally resonant. The goal is not criticism. It’s awareness.
Critical feedback is only offered if the writer requests it. This is a safe, supportive environment where writers are encouraged to take risks, experiment, and grow.
By the end of four weeks, you will:
• Have new, original writing you’re proud of
• Understand what makes your writing work
• Feel clearer about your voice and creative instincts
• Build momentum you can carry forward
Whether you’re returning to writing after time away or finally answering the call to begin, this workshop gives you structure, support, and real progress.
Spots are limited to keep the experience personal and impactful. This workshop is led by professional teacher, writing coach, and writer Trevor Martens.
